Even though I’m a professional drummer, on this site I break things down and deliver them to you in a complete jargon free, easy to understand format! So it doesn’t matter whether you’ve been playing for twenty seconds, twenty years or have only thought about taking up the drums, you’ll be able to understand what’s on this site.

There’s something on here for everyone. In Slice of the Day I will be writing you one big topic per week as well as “rhythm”, “fill” and “track” of the week along with reasons for my choice. I’ll be bringing you gear reviews from different perspectives as well as pitting one product against another to ensure you get the best things on offer. You’ll get news and events in the drum world brought to you as and when they happen and you also get the chance to ask me questions and even write your own piece for the site.
